The Recruitment Lot is the end result of a program used to identify and attract young coffee producers interested in turning their farms into successful businesses in the specialty coffee market.

Through rigorous evaluation of the quality and taste of each producer’s small batch, Unblended identifies potential candidates for the Young Producer Program and offers support through the Young Producer Association. The Recruitment Lot is the result of that identification process, blending the batches that meet the criteria of quality and taste.

At Preface, we strive to be good stewards of this lot, roasting it with care and in the hopes of honoring these young producers’ efforts. With notes of chocolate, caramel, and molasses, this is an easy-drinking coffee that’s great to share with friends or to accompany you in your morning rituals.
